As an editor and operator for First Things First, Books for Women, Sue made many connections with other women writers, editors, and publishers. She kept a collection of publications that reflect the wide range of her areas of interest, both in activism and in her personal life. She primarily kept feminist and lesbian publications including those in which she had prose or poems published.
