Dear Brother Will: <br /><br />
First things first, I sent you a box of sparrow (cheep, cheep) cigars. Did you get them? Just remember where you got them, that’s all.<br /><br />
Now, let’s consider money. I’ve sent a notice to all these on this list. There are 115 of ‘em.<br /><br />
I thought you might like to have this to go by in making up your new list. Maybe some of these ain’t got three bucks and you’d want to renew them. <br /><br />
If you renew any of these, could you please note it in some way? That’s in case they send in money...then I can return it to them. <br /><br />
This damned honesty is not the profitable policy. <br /><br />
Was it Mrs. Ben Russell you mentioned in Green-ville, Tenn. Talking about a paper there? Kindly let me know. I would like to write her and see what they have in mind. <br /><br />
